Edinburgh Gin x Joey Medrington
I hosted our wonderful Valentine’s Masterclass on Thursday 6th February at Tigerlily.
The event was to showcase our Valentine’s themed cocktails in partnership with Edinburgh Gin. To start the evening off, we had a prosecco ‘Plum Royale’, topped with Edinburgh Gin Plum & Vanilla Liqueur which was handed out to our guests while everyone started to settle in, mingle and grab a seat.

Joey is passionate in his field and this shows! He particularly enjoys hosting the masterclasses for our events as he feels it gives a more interactive approach to making the cocktails and a better understanding of the meaning behind the drinks we produce for our loyal customers every year.
I invited a host of wonderful influencers along, based in and around Edinburgh, who all cover a wide range of topics from skin care, lifestyle, diet, fashion and events.
This followed with Joey’s second drink, the Aphrodite, made with Edinburgh Gin Rhubarb & Ginger, Watermelon, tea cordial & soda - which for many was a favourite, especially the Jolly Rancher sweetie to finish things off!
In between drink demonstrations, Joey then kindly asked volunteers to join him in making cocktails where he showed us through the process. Admittedly they weren’t quite as good as Joey’s cocktails but the enthusiasm was there!
To finish, we enjoyed two more cocktails: the ‘I’m With Cupid’ and ‘Love Potion No.7’. Not only was the event all about cocktails but we had gorgeous goodie bags for each of the guests who attended.

The goodie bags included a gorgeous set of Edinburgh Gin alongside vouchers for Benefit, Bare Minerals samples, a monetary value off Tuesday Beauty (a beautiful pink salon based in Leith) and a 20% off voucher for Bleach Please (an alternative pink salon in the heart of the city centre!)
